肉石

肉石，也称肉形石，顾名思义就是外观像肉的石头。此件重25斤6两，系天然石种，多数属沉积岩，硅质岩或变质岩，是在地质运动过程中与其他矿物质接触色化而成。

肉石可分为天然肉石和工艺肉石。天然肉石： 即具有天然形色的肉形石。工艺肉石： 即以肉石为基底，人为参与切割、打磨、成型的肉石。

肉石多数属沉积岩，硅质岩或变质岩，是在地质运动过程中与其他矿物质接触色化而成。

国内出产肉石的产地不少，例如内蒙古、河北、山东、浙江、江西、广西、安徽等地。出产的肉石基本是硅质岩石，不管材质是玛瑙、碧玉，还是黄蜡石，其主要成分都是以二氧化硅为主。单从成分上考虑，大自然中能满足成为肉石的石头并不少。但是地表出产的天然肉石却少之又少，能称得上象形精品的，更是凤毛麟角。

国内生産肉石の産地は多くて、たとえば内モンゴル、河北省、山東省、浙江省、江西省、広西、安徽省などで。出産の肉石基本は珪質岩石に関わらず、材質は瑪瑙、碧玉か、蜜蝋石、主な成分は二酸化ケイ素を中心に。単成分から考えると、大自然の中で満たすことができ肉石石になるのは少なくない。しかし地表産出される天然肉石が少ない、というほどの象形精品、さらには珍しい。
